An Overview

It's best to plan well in advance for your wedding cake services. Schedule a 30-minute consultation with Sweet Jazmines 4-6 months prior to your wedding date. If your wedding is more than 6 months away, but you know that you absolutely, without a doubt will be using Sweet Jazmines, you may leave a $100 deposit (non-refundable) towards our services and then wait to schedule your wedding cake consultation appointment. But again, please be advised to schedule your consultation 4-6 months in advance of your wedding date.

How to Request a Consultation

For your added convenience you may now request a consultation date with our online request form. Click the icon below, then follow the instructions to fill out the form and request your appointment time. The appointment times are 11:00 am, 12:00 pm, 1:00 pm and 2:00 pm Tuesday through Saturday based on availability. Sweet Jazmines will respond to all online appointment requests with a reply e-mail or a phone call to confirm one of your requested times.

Details of the Consultation

At the consultation, please plan on spending 30 minutes to taste the cake selections and look through our album. After the initial consultation, if you chose to leave a deposit we will allow for another 30 minutes to go over some details of the cake.
PLEASE NOTE: For those who have not left a deposit, we will hold on to the paperwork from your consultation for 3 weeks after the day of the consultation. If no deposit is made within this 3-week period, we will assume you will not be ordering a cake and the paperwork will be removed from our files.

If you need directions to our bakery please ask well in advance of your appointment. Our address and a map link can be found on our main line location page. If you are running late please call Sweet Jazmines at 610-644-1868 because we may have to reschedule your appointment. After your appointment, if you have any follow-up questions please call us Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday only. Also, any follow-up appointments must be scheduled. We regret that we are not able to accommodate walk-in appointments.

What happens in the consultation?
During the 30-minute consultation the bride and groom will get a chance to taste Sweet Jazmines’ wedding cake samples and look through our album to see the quality of work that we do and the variety of styles that we can create.

What do I need to bring?
First, bring your appetite. Then bring anyone who is going to help make a decision in purchasing/creating your wedding cake. (NOTE: We ask for no more than 4 guests at the consultation appointment.) Also bring any pictures of wedding cakes that have captured your attention and any color swatches that you think we may need to see. We have a wide selection of magazines from which you can find photos of cakes but feel free to bring your own.

How long does the appointment take and what does it consist of?
The appointment takes 30 minutes and you will get a chance to taste the cakes, look though our album and ask some questions.

What is the cost of the consulation? Is it free?
Yes, the initial consultation is complimentary. If you choose to have a secondformal consultation, with 30 minutes to taste and look through the album, the fee is $25. If you need an extra plate of the wedding cake samples to take home the cost is $10 per cake plate.

What flavors of cake will be sampled during the consultation?
• Raspberry N’Cream
Three layers of vanilla cake with one layer of raspberry marmalade with a thin layer of vanilla buttercream and one layer of vanilla cheesecake
• Chocolate Mousse with Ganache
Three layers of dark chocolate cake with one layer of ganache and chocolate mousse and one layer of chocolate mousse
• Caramel Symphony
Two layers of marble pound cake soaked with a kahlua syrup and one layer of caramel buttercream
• Cinnfully Southern
Three layers of sweet potato cake with one layer of cinnamon cream cheese and one layer of caramel buttercream
• Lemon Delight
Two layers of lemon pound cake and one layer of lemon curd and lemon buttercream

What is ganache?
Ganache is a combination of chocolate and heavy cream and possibly butter. It is the same filling used for making chocolate truffles. Delicious and rich.
