The oatmeal raisin cookie is one of those cookies, that when people come into our pastry shop and smell their aroma, they usually wind up taking a bag of cookies home with them. There is something very appealing when we smell cinnamon, nutmeg, and oatmeal baking in the oven. This cookie is loaded with dark raisins that are soaked to give them the plumpness they need, so that once the cookies are baked the raisins are nice still nice and chewy.
