Over the years, we have found that there are too many variables when dealing with custom pastry orders, and often something that takes four or five emails to deal with can be settled quite quickly with one short phone call. So, please call us to place your order, at 610-644-1868. We cannot consider your order placed until you have spoken to someone on the phone.
Our normal turnaround time for a custom cake is at least one week in advance for single-tier cakes, and at least two weeks in advance for multiple-tier cakes or any special or custom artwork. But if you discover on a Sunday or a Monday that you will need a cake on short notice, please do not email us. So much email comes in on our days off that your rush order might not be seen until it's too late. If you do have to place a rush order, call the shop on Tuesday morning to see if we are able to accomodate your order, and do note that a rush fee will apply. We are not open to walk-in traffic on Tuesdays, however, we are in the bakery working on previously-placed orders.
You can email us with details or images related to your order. For example, photos of cakes you like, or the style of your bridesmaid dresses, or a specific character from a cartoon. You can also email us if you have questions or want more information about something. However, we cannot consider your order placed until you have spoken to someone on the phone.
Computers, tablets and smartphones are great, but one thing they do not do well is reproduce color consistently. What looks coral on your screen might look orange on ours. So if you have a color you want to match or replicate, you must bring a hard copy photo, or a fabric sample, into the shop.
Due to our production schedule, it may take 48 business hours for us to respond.
