If it is possible to take the flavors of an apple pie and put them into a muffin that is what we have achieved. We have taken the flavors of cinnamon, nutmeg and ginger and mixed them into the silky batter, as well as lots of granny smith apples to increase the spice flavor. To add the perfect finish to this muffin we brush an amaretto glaze over the top to give it a slight hint of almond.
